Hon'ble Education Minister, Haryana Government
Kanwar Pal is the Education Minister of Haryana. His portfolios includes Forests, Tourism, Parliamentary Affairs, Hospitality and Art, Cultural Affairs.
He became MLA from the Jagadhri constituency for the 3rd time in 2019. He earlier won as MLA from Jagadhri in 2000 as well as 2014. Kanwar Pal Gujjar was also the speaker of the Haryana Legislative Assembly from 2014 to 2019.
In 2014, many educational schemes were launched under the guidance and vision of Kanwar Pal Ji. like Mukhya Mantri Shiksha Deeksha Yojana, Comprehensive Computer Education Programme, Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan, Rashtriya Madhyamik Shiksha Abhiyan.
Sarbjit Kaur Dhillon
Mayor, Chandigarh
Sarbjit Kaur Dhillon, Mayor of Chandigarh. is a councillor from ward number 6. Kaur has studied till the second year of a Bachelor of Arts course. Her entry to politics was only after the ward became a reserved seat for women candidates. She lives in Mani Majra.
Sarabjeet was born in 1980 in a Jat Sikh family of Panchkula. She completed her studies from Panchkula itself. She did her further studies from Kurukshetra University. She was married to Jagtar Jagga during the final year of college.
