A Postgraduate in Physics from Hindu College, University of Delhi, I entered the field of education as a Senior School teacher of Physics. Keenly interested in innovative, result oriented projects, I always kept myself abreast with teaching technologies to become a Certified Master Trainer on Microsoft by INTEL, India and a Certified Teacher to teach GCE Advanced level (Physics) course as per Cambridge International Examinations (C.I.E.). For an experiential study of international curriculum IGCSE and IB, I had hands on experience to support consultancy schools in Maldives, Noida and Abu Dhabi along with a weeks’ exposure to GEMS schools in Dubai and 10 days US Study Tour through State University of Oswego (New York).
Starting early as a post graduate Physics teacher, I got an opportunity to head the Department of Science and Computers in reputed schools including G.D. Goenka Public School, New Delhi. A keen student of Science and Mathematics with an inborn passion for teaching and love for children, I could easily excel as a teacher and soon moved on to head schools such as Chinmaya Vidyalaya, Delhi. Recognized for my expertise in school governance at Chinmaya, Delhi, I was appointed as an active member for the Academic Assessment Team, CCMT Trust Education Cell (Running 80 k12 Schools and 8 degree colleges under Chinmaya Education Trust) Chinmaya Karya Kosha (Management Training for Principals) & Chinmaya Samanvaya (HR and Administrative training).
My next exposure as Principal at GEMS International School, Gurgaon gave me a deep insight into new school set up and hands on experience at international outlook and curriculum. Prompted by the display of dynamic and intelligent leadership coupled with commitment and integrity I was moved to the corporate educational consultancy at GEMS Education India as Associate Director Education. Further on I moved to Educational Consultancy of the Shri Ram group headed by Kartik Bharatram to spearhead as AVP Operations to lead in setting up schools under the flagship of the Shri Ram starting from a mere 3 to 33 established preschools and k 12 CBSE and ICSE schools in North India, in a short span of 7 years.
