Somveer Anand is the CEO & Mission Director of Innovation Mission Punjab. The unique private-public partnership is strengthening the entrepreneurial ecosystem in the region through its Accelerator, Pollinator, and Investment Fund while reimagining the way entrepreneurship is encouraged and supported in Punjab.

Prior to this, from 2016-to 2020 Somveer spent four years building Pindfresh as a Co-founder, a company trying to solve real-world problems of food contamination, polluted air, overuse of pesticides, and changing weather patterns by designing innovative solutions to these issues - using hydroponics, cocopeat gardening, and other hi-tech solutions. He was also the co-founder of Who Farms – a ready-to-drink D2C health foods company that took pride in tracing 85% of the ingredients back to the farmer.

Previously, Somveer was the sole representative of Avendus Capital (Private Clients) in the United States, managing Investment portfolios for large US-based families based out of New York.
