Rahul is an education coach and a Start-up co-founder devoted to building creative
organizations that impact and uplift societies. His primary venture, Athena
Education, helps students become the best versions of themselves and receive
admission to top universities around the world.
Rahul went to high school in Fremont, California. He received perfect SAT scores and
got into every Ivy-League college he applied to, finally choosing Princeton over
Harvard. At Princeton, he studied Politics with a certificate in Political Economy.
Post his graduation, Rahul served as a Director of College Counselling at a
prestigious college counseling and test prep company in California.
Through a deep understanding of psychology and technology, Rahul wished to foster
world-class learning experiences that transform students intellectually and
emotionally. He thus co-founded Athena seven years ago, with his close friend and
Princeton classmate Poshak Agrawal, to enable the Ivy dream of Indian youngsters.
Both have significantly served on the interview committee of Princeton University
and are inspiring and guiding aspirants to topmost ranked universities globally.
Athena Education is already an Indian leader in transformational life coaching for
Ivy-League and equivalent admissions. The organization has helped hundreds of
students transform into well-rounded and self-aware leadership talent that are
potential assets for Ivy League and other leading colleges globally. Rahul takes
pride in assisting students to discover and strengthen their character, global
citizenry, Ikigai, perspective, and leadership qualities so that they become the
best versions of themselves.
A multifaceted personality and believer of holistic living, Rahul actively pursues
his interests in Chess, Theatre, Tennis, Golf, Photography, Reading, Indian
Classical Music, and Yoga.
He is strengthened in his mission by his spouse Sanya Goyal, an INSEAD and UChicago
alum and entrepreneur in the food industry, heading B2B and B2C brands!
Rahul also collaborates with the NGO Sitare, which assists first-generation college
aspirants to enter elite institutions in India and abroad.
