Alok Bhimesh serves as the Executive Director of National Institute of Value Education (NIVE), an educational initiative of the team of ISKCON Bangalore.
NIVE runs schools and preschools under the umbrella of ‘Basil Woods Institutions’ (BWI) with over 2,200 students across Bangalore, Hyderabad and Delhi NCR. NIVE also runs other cultural and educational programs; touching over 6,500 students every year across the country. NIVE and Basil Woods Institutions have won several national and international accolades for its initiatives. BWI has been consistently ranked among the top emerging schools in India. NIVE is also recognized as a certified ‘Great Place to Work’ by GPTW. In his previous corporate stint, Alok was with OYO Rooms during the latter's nascent stage of growth. Prior to this, he worked with the Investment Banking division of The Royal Bank of Scotland. Alok completed his masters in Management (PGDM) from Indian Institute of Management, Indore in 2014. He holds a B.Tech in Computer Science from Rashtriya Vidyalaya College of Engineering, Bangalore. Alok stood first for Karnataka in the State-level NTSE examination and is recognized as a National-level NTSE scholar by NCERT.
Alok’s areas of interest include innovation in education and learning, Indology, self-improvement from the timeless Indian wisdom, technology, among others.
