Ashish Sharma is the MD & CEO at InnoVen Capital India, Asia’s leading venture debt platform, which invests across India, China and South East Asia. In India, InnoVen has backed over 180 start-ups, including many category leaders and unicorns.

Prior to InnoVen, Ashish served as the President & CEO at GE Capital, India, where his responsibilities included oversight of GE Capital’s activities, including Joint Ventures such as SBI Cards.

Ashish has extensive global experience and had the opportunity to work across many geographies including India, US, Japan, Australia & Europe. Ashish brings in a rich operating & governance experience and served on the board of several companies such as SBI Cards, GE Capital Services, GE Money, Maruti Countrywide, InnoVen Capital etc. He has also served on various industry bodies such as CII National Banking Committee, CII National Committee on NBFC’s, CII National Committee on Financial Inclusion & Digitization.
